Honest to God

This series is a response to God’s invitation for us to go deeper into prayer as a church community. A central thread of the Psalms isn’t perfect theology, it’s radical honesty. Across the full range of human experience, the Psalms give us language to bring our raw and real selves before God. They offer a roadmap for honest prayer in every circumstance, emotion, and spiritual condition. Throughout this series, we’ll explore what it looks like to bring our whole selves — mad, sad, scared, glad, and remorseful — honestly before God in prayer.
